Why is My Next Dose Label Red?
When a dose is overdue or within 30 minutes of being due the next dose label for the medicine will be in red. Clicking on a red label will bring up the next dose screen and automatically advance the next dose based upon the current time.

If you click on a dose label that is not red, the next dose screen will simply display when the next dose is scheduled for. This gives you the opportunity to see exactly how long it is until the next dose or, if you wish, to change the time of the next dose.

How Do I Add a New Medicine?
Launch Medicine Cabinet. From the start up screen, click on Medicine Cabinet. This will take you to a list of all of the medicine currently in your medicine cabinet.

Click the + sign in the upper right of the screen. This will launch the new medicine entry screen. From there, simply enter the name, dosage, and frequency of the medicine as well as any notes you wish to keep.

How Do I Add a New Patient?
Launch Medicine Cabinet. From the start up screen, click on Add a New Patient. This will take to the new patient entry screen. From there, you can enter the patient's name, choose a custom label color for the patient, and by clicking on the patient icon, you can add a picture from you iPhone or iPod Touch photo library.

Additionally, you will see a list of all medication in your medicine cabinet. Click on any medicine this patient will be taking and Medicine Cabinet will start tracking the next dose for that medicine.

NOTE: If you need to add new medicine for this patient, it is best to do so before creating the patient so it will be available when the patient is being added.

How Do I Edit When the Next Dose is Due?
Launch Medicine Cabinet. From the Medicine Cabinet start up screen, click on the name of the patient whose next dose you would like to edit. Click on the medicine for which you would like to change the next dose due time. This will bring up the next dose screen.

Using the date picker at the bottom of the screen to set the desired date and time of the next dose. When you are finished, click Done to set the next dose.

How Do I Track Different Doses for the Same Medicine?
You can track multiple doses of the same medicine by entering the information for both doses in the dosage field of the medicine.

For example, let's say you have a medicine due twice a day, but the AM dose is 200ml and the PM dose is 400ml. When setting up the medicine, you can enter the dosage as, "AM:200ml PM:400ml."

This is also a good way to track different doses for family members or pets taking the same medication in different dosage.

How Can I Track Medicine Reorders and Expirations?
To track when to reorder medicine or when medicine expires, set up a new "patient", but instead of entering a person's name, enter the appropriate label for what you are tracking. For example, "Expiration Dates" or "Reorder Dates". Click each medicine you want track dates for, then click Done.

Next, click on each medicine label and set it's next dose for the appropriate date. For example, if you are tracking expiration dates, set the next does for the expiration date of the medication. (Because the next dose of medication is tracked per patient, this will have no impact on any other real patient who is taking this medication.)
